Featured A-Grade Motor Carrier Reports
A curated collection of 10,151 motor carrier reports selected from FMCSA active-authority data. Each report covers carrier identity, fleet size, safety record, cargo classifications where available, and a path for the carrier to request corrections.
About the collection
The Featured Reports collection is the public subset of a broader carrier dataset covering several million FMCSA records. Inclusion is determined by active operating authority, active status, and a computed safety grade of A or A+, ranked by fleet size. The selection is refreshed on a monthly cycle from the FMCSA SMS and census feeds.
Each report links back to the source FMCSA fields it was built from. Carriers can request corrections, updates, or removal through the contact path on their own detail page.

Cargo and operation-type browse pages are not yet available. The underlying FMCSA cargo data is a multi-flag structure (hazmat, passenger, cargo tank, general freight) that requires additional normalization before it can serve as a clean public taxonomy. State and fleet-size browse pages above cover the same set of carriers in the meantime.
For carriers: corrections and updates
If a featured report contains an inaccuracy or you'd like your record updated, the carrier detail page provides a correction request path. North Star Group reviews and applies corrections sourced from the named carrier.
